The Ittihad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan (IMP) confirmed its first joint attack with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on 8 July 2025 in Orakzai District. Though IMP has conducted over 200 attacks since its formation on 12 April 2025, this is its first publicly acknowledged operation with TTP.

The unusually high frequency of TTP attacks in Chitral during June 2025 signifies the potential large-scale establishment of the group’s operational network within the district.

ISKP’s Al-Azaim Media has released a new issue of its Pashto magazine Khorasan Ghag (Voice of Khorasan) after a four and half -month hiatus, aiming to discredit the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban and attract their supporters.

Two senior ISKP commanders, Mohammad Saeed and Aman Gul Gujar, were mysteriously beheaded in Afghanistan’s Kunar province by unknown assailants. The nature of their killing suggests possible personal revenge or internal ISKP rivalry.

Umar Media, the official media wing of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, released the 20th episode of its Rasm-e-Muhabbat series as a tribute to Maulvi Farid Mansoor, son of senior leader Maulvi Faqir Muhammad, who was killed in a clash with security forces in Bajaur on 27 April 2025.
